Our Garden

After getting our garden plants in the ground later than planned, we are already reaping the benefits of our garden.  The lettuce is great and I have been cutting some every night for salads with our dinner.  I think it is fantastic to go out and get some fresh cut romaine and butter lettuces.  I also have been seeing the starts of tomatoes, and the blooms of the tomato plants, zucchini, and cucumbers.

Our pepper plants are growing and getting bigger, but no produce action there.  Onions are doing well, and we are getting a radish or two every couple of days.  Something has been eating on my spinach...and it's a bug...not my littles!  I still have some I have been cutting from some of the plants, but not a ton!
and yes...that happens to be a zucchini plant in the middle of my tomato rows...
These yellow squash came from my sister's garden, she is swimming in them and my mom brought them with her when she came for the weekend. I am cooking them tonight for dinner!

Here is where our garden began...back in March...it was still very cold here in March...so all my plants were starts at that time.
I hope your garden is doing well too!
Next stop canning....here I come

Blessings to you and yours,

Amanda

There is a lot of flowers on those plants, how exciting!

Ooh, canning! Not sure--but I *think* that may be my favorite part about gardening season. :)
